For 135 years Tutunski Kombinat AD Prilep, from Prilep, Republic of Macedonia, has been an international synonym for quality for oriental tobacco and cigarettes.

Since its founding back in 1873, our company has marked continuous and impressive growth.

The present-day company by means of the latest technology, up-to-date factories and facilities, as well as highly skilled and trained human resources, operates and manages all the stages of tobacco production – from sowing to distribution of its final products - fermented oriental tobacco and cigarettes.

In the long list of business collaborators and long term partners are many of the most distinguished and eminent companies in the tobacco business, as British American Tobacco, Philip Morris, SOCOTAB, KT&G, Japan Tobacco, R.J. Reynolds, Imperial Tobacco etc.

However, having in consideration the harsh effects of the tough and long period of the economy transition, since the beginning of the nineties, TKP was not left intact.

Consequently TKP had to reposition on the local and international markets. Nowadays, TKP has strong presence on the local and international markets as direct result of involvement of its most valuable asset – the human resources and continuous investments in modernization and use of modern technology, as well.
